The Whitesburg PTA has been proud to partner with our Librarians to recognize our students’ who meet their reading goals with quarterly AR parties. AR goals are set in the classroom, and if students meet their goals they’re invited to attend a celebration of their achievement. A PTA committee chair works with the Librarians to develop party themes, and PTA is called upon to assist with volunteers to help the party run as well as supplement the party with donations of supplies.
